". . . Tiffany Ashton has magic. She's an outstanding and most wanted student at several American Universities , and one of the "most exciting talent to come along in awhile that Ive had the pleasure to hear." - Charles Ecker, CR Ecker Band, 2016
Winning "Best Country Artist" at the Hollywood Music In Media
Awards on November 11, 2015 at the Fonda Theatre on Hollywood
Boulevard's Walk of Fame was momentous in the rising career of singer
songwriter Tiffany Ashton from Winston Salem, NC. Winning the
prestigious award in a category alongside veteran songwriters who had
previously penned number one hits makes Tiffany the one to watch.
Tiffany, with her unique twist of contemporary country pop, performed in
Hollywood at venues that included headlining the HMMA Red Carpet
kick-off pre-party at Cabo Wabo located in the Academy Award’s Kodak
Theatre Complex on Hollywood Blvd, a performance at the historic Genghis
Cohen in West Hollywood, and at the HMMA Music In Media Professional
Mixer held at the exquisite Redbury Hotel.
One of only eight singer
songwriters invited to perform at the exclusive mixer, she performed
with such industry experts as Tom MacLear, writer of Rod Stewart’s hit
songs “Hot Legs” and “Tonight’s the Night”.
In addition to her Hollywood Award, she was also named the 2015
Charlotte Music Awards winner in two categories, both Women in Country
and Singer-Songwriter.
Often seen taking extra time to talk with fans individually before
and after shows, Tiffany enjoys connecting with her audience and her
passion for reaching fans through her music is evident. “My love for
music extends in its connection to the audience,” Tiffany says,
"performing, singing and songwriting for me is a creative outlet, an
instinct and a passion. I don’t think a day has gone by that I haven’t
sung; life for me without music would be colorless. There is no better
feeling than playing my original songs to an audience and having them
smile back at me, mouthing the lyrics. That says it all...music has
spoken to them in a way nothing else can.”
Born to sing, she performed first at the age of six as a soloist for
her church, and from there she branched into performing the anthem for
stadiums and solos in churches across the south. Delving into guitar at
twelve, she wrote her first song and began pursuing her musical passion
as a full-time career. Blending contemporary country and edgy, vibrant
pop, Tiffany has since created a style all her own.
With her songs resonating in venues such as The Tin Roof Nashville
and Eddie’s Attic, Tiffany has been invited to grace many stages,
including events such as the Charlotte Thanksgiving Day Parade,
Charlotte's Festival In The Park and North Carolina's Dixie Classic
Fair. Cimorelli, Sly and the Family Stone, and Mac Powell of Third Day
are only a few of the national artists Tiffany has shared the stage
with, and dozens of publications, TV, and radio stations have promoted
her music.
A few of these opportunities include being featured as Wild
Horse Radio's featured artist of the week, having her songs in rotation
at numerous radio stations, and having her original songs played on
iHeart Radio. After Tiffany's Southeast 2015 Summer Tour, audiences and
fans in the US, UK, Spain, Canada and Germany have been touched by
Tiffany’s music and are eagerly awaiting her next steps with frequent
requests for more shows here in the US as well as international venues
from the new young country artist.
